Dr. Henry Kuo

Dean of Department of Photonics, National Chiao Tung University

Dr. Henry Kuo is an LED expert who dedicated himself in chip technology. Dr. Ian Chan

Dean of Electronics & Optoelectronics Research Laboratories, ITRI

Dr. Ian Chan was once the dean of Department of Electrical Engineering, NCU, IEEE journal editors, host of international SSDM conference (Japan). His research focused on high-speed semiconductor components, microwaves circuit manufacture design, sub-micron technology, semi-manufacture process, and flex electronics. Dr. Carson M.H. Hsieh

Tech VP of Epistar

Dr. Carson M.H. Hsieh』s research focus is LED structure design, thermal processing, and LED manufacture processing. He joined Epstar for more than 10 years, and have gave several of speeches on LED technology.

NCTU was established in 1994. The Department of Photonics (DoP) includes two research institutes. Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering (IDO) was established in 1980, the first institute to train engineer talents in Photonic countrywide, have cultivated more than 1,000 PhD. degrees.
